Registered Nurse; RN Bayshore Gardens -Standing Emergency Department

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care. Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid in patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH) in Bradenton, Florida, part of the Manatee Healthcare System, has served the community for over 70 years and holds The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. The 295-bed hospital offers cardiac care, emergency services, surgery (including robotic-assisted da Vinci®), weight loss, orthopedics, radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care, and women’s and children’s services. MMH also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

• This opportunity is for a full-time days position with the Bayshore Gardens Free-Standing Emergency Department
• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of ED experience
• Current ER experience, required

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in Florida
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association
• Current PALS through American Heart Association
• Current TNCC Certification
• Current NIH Stroke Certification
• CPI required within 6 months of hire
