About Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH)
Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.
Functions independently to collaborate, assess, identify and meet the educational needs of hospital staff to maintain and improve competence in their defined roles and provide opportunities for staff fulfillment of regulatory agency requirements. Responsible for the design and implementation of effective educational programs through application of adult learning principles and utilizing multiple teaching approaches including blended learning to meet multiple staff learning styles.
Creates or revises pertinent educational programs, coordinates implementation of course content, monitors participant progress and evaluates overall effectiveness of programs. Participates in and contributes to interdisciplinary performance improvement activities. Integrates evidence‑based practice and nursing theory into education interventions. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
- Full‑time Nurse Educator position
- Minimum of two (2) years of education experience, preferred
- Critical Care or Emergency Room experience, preferred
