DeSoto Animal Clinic, a full-service veterinary hospital in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a full-time Florida-licensed Associate Veterinarian to join our compassionate and experienced team. Our practice welcomes emergency cases and provides comprehensive routine medical, surgical, and dental care.

We are a privately owned, multi-doctor clinic that values medical autonomy and offers strong support from our team — including five Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs). This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a collaborative, supportive, and state-of-the-art environment.

Founded in 1980, DeSoto Animal Clinic has a long-standing reputation for quality veterinary care and a loyal, well-established client base. Our facility was recently renovated in 2023, including a brand-new addition and the latest in veterinary technology.

Office open Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays.

Work schedule:

Monday through Friday you will have 1 static surgery day and 1 static day off weekly, Saturdays are on a rotation schedule.

Approximate workload: 11-13 scheduled appointments, 8-10 work-ins (split between doctors), 8-10 drop-offs (split between doctors). Surgery day typically 3-5 surgeries.
