Are you an experienced property management leader with deep affordable housing compliance knowledge and the ability to take ownership ofcomplex communities? We’re looking for a Senior Property Manager to oversee aproperty in Bradenton, FL, with the potential to also support a property in Naples in the future.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is highly resourceful, financially savvy, independent, and extremely strong in affordable housing compliance. The ideal candidate has experience navigating property rehabs, resident relocations, multi-site operations, and challenging operational situations.
What You’ll Do:- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Bradenton community, with the potential totake on additional oversight of a Naples property in the future.
- Maintain exceptionally strong compliance with Project-Based Section 8, HUD, andLow-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) requirements, including files,recertifications, audits, and regulatory standards.
- Manage renovation and rehabilitation projects, including coordinating residentrelocations and helping minimize disruption to residents during construction.
- Review property financials, including budgets, income statements, balance sheets,expenses, and variances, and develop action plans when properties are trending over budget.
- Lead property teams, vendors, contractors, and community operations while independently identifying problems, finding resources, and driving solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, ownership, internal partners, and regulatory agencies while ensuring properties operate efficiently andremain compliant.
- We are seeking someone with 5+ years of Senior Property Manager-level experience and previous multi-site exposure.
- Extensive experience with Project-Based Section 8, HUD, and LIHTC compliance is essential.
- Youshould be comfortable managing challenging properties, rehabilitation projects, resident relocations, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Theright person will be a go-getter who does not need to be heavily directed.
