Lead Line Cook

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is ideal for a passionate cook who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and is excited to contribute to a member satisfaction–driven environment. As a Lead Line Cook, you will play a key role in food preparation, quality control, and teamwork on the line—particularly at the grill station—while setting an example of professionalism and enthusiasm.

• Prepare and execute menu items to Esplanade’s high standards of quality and presentation.
• Take ownership of the grill position, ensuring consistency and proper cooking techniques.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior line cooks, helping to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Support Chef and Sous Chef in daily prep, specials, and seasonal menu changes.

• 3–4 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen, with strong grill skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, member-focused attitude and commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
