Merchandising Lead

Position Summary

Sam’s Club #8201, located at 5300 30th St E, Bradenton, FL , is hiring a Member Service Associate.

• Serve members by acknowledging them, identifying their needs, and providing guidance on self‑service technology.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
• Promote Sam’s Club products and services.
• Support management in supervising and training associates, including assigning duties, communicating goals, and providing feedback.
• Stock shelves, maintain merchandise presentation, and complete required paperwork and logs.
• Maintain safety by performing safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Ensure product rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards are met.
• Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders and stage products according to policy.
• Implement process improvements by collaborating with managers and partners, analyzing data, and addressing improvement opportunities.
• Model ethical behavior, support the Open Door Policy, and correct compliance issues.
• Lead and participate in teams, coordinate work assignments, and provide advice and feedback.
• Support a culture of belonging, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• 18 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months of retail experience AND 6 months of customer service experience.

• Experience leading or supervising a team, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $29.00, with additional premiums up to $3.00 per hour.
