As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salaryand Schedule
- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 to $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours for this position are between 14 – 18 hours per week.
- Availability week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for reporting, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May work on actual holidays, including weekends.
- Department Resets: Participate in team installations, build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, reset card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance. May include evenings or weekends.
- One Team Vision: Be part of Hallmark’s field organization network of merchandisers, supporting team members as needed.
Physically demanding. Must push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. May kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, use step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Can lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital handheld device.
- Have Wi‑Fi network and internet access.
- Have reliable transportation to and between assigned stores.
