As a Porter at RWB Thrift, you are the air-traffic controller of the backroom, anticipating the needs of the production support staff ahead of time, ensuring supplies are available and in the correct place. You play a vital role in maintaining a safe work environment by prioritizing cleanliness, organization, and flow of the production floor. You are aware of the walkways and removing hazards for the production floor team.

• Transport items between departments and assist with supply movement as needed
• Maintain inventory of supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishment
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and staff
• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating the needs of the production staff so they can accelerate their workflow

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures for cleaning and maintenance tasks

• Ability to safely perform job functions according to ADA, FMLA, and other standards, including meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity requirements.
• Physical Strength:
  Capable of occasionally lifting 70 lbs, frequently exerting 25 lbs of force, and applying negligible force when handling objects.
• Endurance:
  Able to stand for extended periods.
• Manual Dexterity:
  Proficient in performing repetitive motions such as extending hands and arms in any direction and primarily working with fingers.

  Bright lighting throughout front and back of store; ability to work effectively in bright conditions is required.
