Liquor Cashier; PT

Position Summary:

Provide comprehensive Retail Associate support for members and the liquor area, ensuring safety, excellent merchandise presentation, accurate cash handling, and compliance with Walmart and legal policies.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, conducting safety sweeps, properly spotting forklift operations, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise; and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
• Maintain the sales floor in the liquor area in accordance with company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers or related equipment; process member purchases; assist in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Maintain cash registers and lanes and reduce shrink by stocking register supplies and box bins; follow company policies and procedures for identifying concealed merchandise and striving to meet front‑end performance goals.
• Follow company and legal policies and procedures for liquor sales by securing merchandise, maintaining signage, verifying member identification, and completing required paperwork forms.
