PositionSummary
VNA is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to grow sales across industrial OEM and aftermarket channels. This is primarily an outside sales role focused on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and serving as a trusted point of contact for customers. The role is based out of Bradenton, Florida, within the Veethree Electronics group company to support cross-company synergy, and requires close coordination with VNA headquarters and warehouse operations in Naperville, Illinois.
The position also involves regular collaboration with principal suppliers for technical, commercial, quality, and product-development support.
· Manage, retain, and grow business with existing OEM, dealer, distributor, and aftermarket customers.
· Conduct regular field visits to strengthen customer relationships and identify expansion opportunities.
· Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication.
· Coordinate with principal suppliers on quality issues, product-development requirements, and customer-specific support needs.
Business Development· Identify, qualify, and prospect new accounts within target industrial, OEM, marine, dealer, and distributor markets.
· Respond to inbound leads and convert qualified inquiries into active accounts and revenue opportunities.
· Work with principal suppliers to develop competitive quotes and customer-specific commercial proposals.
· Attend trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and dealer/distributor engagements as required.
· Handle quote requests, pricing inquiries, order follow-up, and customer communications by phone and email.
· Coordinate with customer service, warehouse, operations, and supplier teams to resolve order issues and support on-time delivery.
· Prepare sales proposals, product presentations, and customized quotes for strategic and key accounts.
· Maintain working knowledge of principal suppliers' product catalogs, specifications, applications, and competitive positioning.
· Gather competitive intelligence and market feedback, and share relevant insights with management and principal suppliers.
· Identify new product-development opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, and application requirements.
Qualifications Required· 10-15 years of B2B sales experience in industrial, OEM, aftermarket, distribution, or related markets.
· Proven record of growing sales, developing accounts, and building long-term customer relationships.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across customers, internal teams, and suppliers.
· Ability to understand customer applications and communicate technical and commercial product information clearly.
· Willingness to travel up to 40% within assigned territories.
Preferred· Experience selling electronic components, instrumentation, displays, gauges, sensors, switches, or related products.
· Familiarity with marine OEM channels, industrial distribution networks, and the North American dealer/distributor landscape.
· Technical aptitude and ability to understand and explain product specifications and application requirements.
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
