Nights (11pm-7am)
Performs the duties of Security Officer to maintain the safety and security of the hospital.
Responsibilities- Secures the premises from unauthorized entry.
- Provides support and assistance, both physical and psychological, to staff, patients, and visitors.
- Prepares and submits reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school education or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations.
- Must have 1 year experience as a security officer or related position in an acute care setting.
- Certifications:
Safety and Security Procedures IAHSS training required within 90 days of hire. - BLS required within 90 days of hire.
- CPI required within 90 days of hire.
- Class D Security License required.
- Good communication, interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills.
