Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, and documenting entries and exits at a government location;
Monitor access points, assist residents, visitors, contractors, and/or staff with entry procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and reporting;
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, noting security-related concerns and reporting conditions that may require follow-up
