You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM;
Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM;
Thu 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a government utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating with site contacts, public agencies, and/or first responders while following established procedures and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
