Assist in the day‑to‑day maintenance of community property.
Essential Job Functions- Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
- Troubleshoot and identify problems with electrical and plumbing systems. Repair mechanical issues with said systems.
- Perform regular building maintenance and repairs, including mechanical systems.
- Solder copper pipes and perform advanced plumbing repairs.
- Assist Maintenance Engineer with major projects and repairs.
- Interact with suppliers and/or maintenance providers for troubleshooting and repairing major equipment.
- Assist other staff members with minor repairs to equipment and systems.
Education and Experience:
Three plus years in specialty trade such as A/C, carpentry or electrical work or equivalent and/or a combination of education and experience. Possess an EPA License/Certification. High school diploma or GED.
Medical Requirements:
Must be willing to receive the influenza (flu) vaccination during flu season.
