Woodard & Curran is seeking a Collection System Operator in Bradenton, FL. The ideal candidate will perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of sewer collection system conveyance piping, valves, miscellaneous fitting and other assigned assets.

• Perform all routine, preventive and corrective maintenance assignments as assigned by the project's maintenance and repair program.
• Operate equipment for the rehabilitation of manholes and maintenance of the collection system.
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints.
• Perform record‑keeping/data entry; record daily readings of equipment and processes.
• Cleans and maintains facilities buildings and grounds.
• Repairs yards following maintenance procedures.
• Monitor inventory of parts, supplies and chemicals.
• Communicate with co‑workers on processes and job activities.
• Assist in the inspection processes of sewer lines and manholes.
• Assist in the maintenance and operations of the CCTV inspection system.
• Occasionally assist in the location of utility lines.
• Assist in Asset Management and Maintenance Programs.
• Repair and maintain sewer lines, manholes and lift stations.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Monday – Friday, 1st shift. Flexibility and extended shifts to meet the seasonal demands.
• Availability for standby duty and the ability to be “on‑call,” working evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

• Must have high school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Requires the ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.
• Must have the ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees.
• A valid Florida Class “C” Collection System license is required.
• Must be willing to work schedules which may include weekend or holiday duty, carry a company‑provided telephone, and be willing to respond to emergencies at any time.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre‑placement physical and drug screen before employment.
