Test Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and validating precision electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in delivering quality products and repairs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Conduct functional testing to verify equipment performance and compliance with specifications.
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues.
- Document test results, repairs performed, and other service-related activities.
- Follow technical drawings, schematics, work instructions, and specifications.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action efforts when failures occur.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the service and repair department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications include:
- Previous experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, repair, manufacturing, or service technician roles preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to document work accurately.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or related education is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job type and location:
This is a contract to hire position based out of Bradenton, FL.
Pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
