R.T. Moore Co., Inc., a family-owned mechanical contractor in Indianapolis, seeks a Plumber Superintendent to lead field plumbing crews on residential and multi-family projects. In this on-site role, you'll plan daily work, oversee rough-in and finish plumbing, ensure quality, code compliance, and safety, and coordinate with GCs and other trades to hit schedules. You'll manage materials, review plans, resolve field issues, and mentor apprentices.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise plumbing crews on residential and multi-family construction projects
  • Plan daily work, assign tasks, and monitor productivity and quality
  • Ensure all installations meet code, specs, and company standards
  • Coordinate with general contractors and other trades to meet schedules
  • Enforce jobsite safety practices and company policies
  • Review blueprints and material lists; verify layouts and rough-ins
  • Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment for projects
  • Train and mentor apprentices and plumbers; support skills development
  • Inspect completed work and resolve field issues promptly
  • Report project progress, manpower needs, and issues to management
