SUMMARY: The Client Services Intake Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and administering Solve’s intake process while providing essential program support. This role serves as the first point of contact for potential residents, ensuring a welcoming, thorough, and efficient intake experience. The Intake Coordinator offers encouragement and support to women as they begin their journey with Solve, helping them take the first steps toward stability and hope.
This role requires the ability to balance compassion with healthy professional boundaries—providing guidance and support without taking on the personal burdens of those served. This position also requires active engagement with community partners, including participation in relevant trainings, events, and networking opportunities to strengthen referral relationships and resource connections.
- Answer incoming calls and screen callers for housing eligibility and intake interviews.
- Conduct initial telephone interviews, clearly explaining program criteria, expectations, and services.
- Schedule and coordinate intake interviews for prospective residents.
- Review applications, verify pregnancy status, and provide tours of appropriate homes.
- Complete background checks and obtain required medical records.
- Collaborate with the program team to assess appropriateness of placement.
- Create new resident profiles in Apricot Core® and establish master hard copy files.
- Coordinate new resident intake orientation and administer required drug testing upon acceptance.
- Assist residents in obtaining essential documents (e.g., birth certificate, Social Security card, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in Apricot Core®, including data entry, reporting, and FPPSSP analysis; identify discrepancies and communicate areas of concern.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with referral sources and community partners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date referral information and program census for Solve and Evolve Homes.
- Encourage residents as they enter the program, offering support and helping them feel welcomed and valued.
- Engage in relevant community trainings, events, and networking opportunities to strengthen partnerships and resource awareness.
- Participate in daily and weekly staff meetings to ensure continuity of care.
- Prepare and provide Welcome Home letters (post‑natal) and assist with discharge planning documentation.

Requires travel to all Solve Maternity Homes and the Administrative Office.
Qualifications RequiredEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field.
Education and Experience
- 1–3 years of related experience working with adolescents and families and/or in a residential or human services setting.
- Training as required by the Florida Department of Children and Family Services.
- Personal commitment to Christ.

- No prior criminal history or professional disciplinary actions.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
