Full Time. Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year. Shift: Day. Position: APRN. Supervised by Medical Director/COO. Supervises nursing staff.

Assist the Medical Director in providing substance abuse services, ensuring all clinical programs are safe and appropriate, coordinating medical services, and maintaining client safety and comfort during their stay.

• Perform complete psychiatric evaluations for each new client within the timelines stipulated in the facility policy and procedure manual and in accordance with DCF 65-D30 licensing standards.
• Ensure all notes and staff documentation are completed on time per billing company and Clean Recovery Centers Management requirements.
• Assist the physician in providing medical protocols.
• Make recommendations for follow‑up services that reflect findings or risk factors discovered during medical assessments.
• Refer clients to specialists when medical needs cannot be met by the addiction treatment center providers.
• Assist in monitoring the provision of all prescribed drugs and medically necessary pharmaceutical services.
• Assist in ensuring drug utilization reviews are appropriately conducted and documented, following policy and procedures.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to protect client confidentiality of medical information.
• Communicate clients’ rights and responsibilities to agency clients and providers.
• Maintain procedures for monitoring the coordination of care provided to clients, including all medically necessary services delivered both within and outside the addiction treatment agency.

• Licensed APRN in the State of Florida with unrestricted licenses to practice medicine.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse medical treatment, specifically inpatient detoxification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements and Joint Commission Standards.
• Ability to work with computers and possess good time‑management skills.
• Effective communication and written skills.
• Knowledge of State and Federal statutes regarding client confidentiality laws, drug‑free workplace policies, and workplace violence.
• Full background clearance and urinalysis required.

The role requires working in a temperature‑controlled environment; about 80%-90% of the time is spent indoors. Primary equipment includes a computer, calculator, fax machine, copy machine, telephone system, and a. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, crouching, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting, reaching, reading, and driving. Mental demands include managing psychological stress, working with others, and maintaining security against potential workplace violence (medium/high risk level).

Employees are classified as exempt and work in a universal precaution environment with no personal protective equipment required.
