Job Summary & Purpose  

Sun Pro Delivery Drivers are both brand ambassadors and professional drivers. In this customer-facing role, drivers are responsible for safely transporting Sun Pro products, ensuring accurate deliveries, assisting dealers with unloading, and representing the company with professionalism and product knowledge. Our Drivers typically depart from the Bradenton facility once per week, spending 3-5 days on the road per trip. Local Florida drivers complete same-day routes, returning to the facility each evening.

Job Responsibilities  

Safely operate Sun Pro delivery vehicles to transport motorized screens, awnings, and related materials.

Serve as a professional and friendly representative of Sun Pro with every dealer interaction

Assist dealers with unloading products, including large or heavy items.

Verify delivery accuracy using product knowledge to ensure every order is complete and correct.

Maintain delivery schedules through strong time-management skills.

Follow all DOT regulations and Sun Pro safety standards

Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles.

Communicate proactively with the logistics team regarding delays, issues, or delivery confirmations.

Provide exceptional customer service and resolve dealer questions when possible.

Experience & Educational Requirements  

CDL not required unless specified by Sun Pro

Experience with route driving or delivery operations preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong customer service skills; polite, friendly, and professional demeanor.

Basic product knowledge or willingness to learn Sun Pro products.

Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.

Ability to travel for multi-day routes (3-5 days at a time).

Physical Requirements  

Ability to lift, load, and unload large items weighing 50-100+ lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, and move materials throughout the delivery process.

Comfortable driving long distances on multi-day routes.

Work Setting  

Regional and statewide travel required  

Pay Rate

Paid a flat daily rate of $400 a day.
