Warehouse Operations Assistant

The Warehouse Operations Assistant supports the organization in the distribution of a variety of mail, packages, sporting equipment and uniforms to team members and student athletes across IMG Academy’s campus.

IMG Academy is a boarding school and sports training destination located on a 400-acre area campus.

• Assist with campus package and mail operations and distribution across campus
• Pull and issues clothing gear kits to students, coaches, sports and employees according to sponsor agreements.
• Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness & neatness of the shipping/receiving area and warehouse
• Sort and place clothing and other gear according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or sport
• Prepare product for storage and/or delivery
• Create and maintain mailroom and warehouse databases
• Count items for distribution within the organization to ensure conformance to company standards
• Receive, store, and distribute clothing, equipment, and products within establishments.
• Maintain a safe warehouse and mailroom with safe use of all equipment
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Experience in shipping/receiving functions preferred
• Proficient in Excel & Microsoft Office
• Must be able to perform simple arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to utilize computer systems to process incoming and outgoing material/products
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects
• A superior work ethic

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to operate a pallet jack

• Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 50lbs.
• Should be able to handle indoor/outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
• Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Requires a background check upon offer
• Requires a drug test upon offer
