Inventory Supply Clerk

• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company’s Coastal East facility
• Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a daily basis
• Coordinate and schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
• Keep files of inventory shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers and accounting
• Primary person to handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
• Trouble shooting of shipping issues, delivery schedules and customer complaints that arise and work to solve those challenges
• Place merchandise in appropriate storage areas throughout the building. This may require the use of equipment to facilitate the safe and efficient transport of supplies throughout the facility
• Work with all department throughout the organization to research, obtain competitive bids (when necessary), and to organize and facilitate all aspects of shipping and receiving for the entire facility.
• Collect and distribute incoming mail and packages as needed

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Office setting and computer experience required

• Requires use of office equipment, such as computers, scanners, fax machines, phones and copiers.
• Requires sitting and computer related activities for extended periods of time.
• Requires the ability to see, hear, walk, stand, sit, climb, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, write and type.
• Medium work: lifting 50-lbs. Maximum with moderate lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10lbs.
