Supply Chain:
The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness.
Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.

The Opportunity
We are looking to add a Packaging Off Shift Supervisor for our Diversified department team. This role will be responsible for managing all activities associated with front-line teams to positively impact the overall department/area. The Supervisor will lead a team of hourly front-line associates, and possibly salaried associates. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Optimize operational efficiencies to support the facility’s production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations.
- Ensure Tropicana Brands Group financial and accounting control procedures are followed to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify and coordinate operations improvements necessary to deliver the site annual operating plan (AOP). Ensure cost performance gaps are identified, action plans are developed, and resources are properly allocated.
- Build capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.
- Manage the performance of direct reports through performance reviews, frequent discussions, coaching, and career development action plans.
- Build and develop talent by effectively leveraging Tropicana Brands Group Career Growth and Leadership Models and the Performance Management Process: objective setting, performance and development (PDR), CDAP, people planning, 360 feedback, and competency review.
- This role requires regular presence on the plant floor.
- Directly oversee operational measures including but not limited to efficiency, yield loss, product quality, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy.
The Perfect Blend:
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in food/beverage.
- Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
- Directly oversee operational measures including CIL/CL compliance, minor stop loss, OEE/TE/RE improvement plans, SRC/RCA/BDA completion.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar fields.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- This role will require off-shift and weekend work.
- Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana office, warehouse, or manufacturing plant in Bradenton.
- Travel up to 5%.
