Admissions Counselor

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month Admissions Counselor, reporting to Vice President for Enrollment Management and Director of Admissions. This is a people-first role at a student-centered campus where every interaction matters — and where you'll build real relationships with students from their very first point of contact.

Job Summary:
Prepares, processes, maintains, and provides information regarding student admissions records and/or reports. Participates in recruitment activities and projects.
Essential Functions:
- Travel and recruit across the northeastern United States, with focused attention on Eastern PA, New Jersey, and the DC area.
- Interview prospective students, review applications, and provide personalized guidance throughout the admissions process.
- Counsel and follow up with first-year and transfer students interested in enrolling at Pitt-Bradford.
- Represent the University at college fairs, high school visits, and campus events.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; preference given to Pitt-Bradford alumni. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively. Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing a travel budget or related administrative responsibilities is helpful. A genuine enthusiasm for working with students — a sense of humor and a strong work ethic go a long way here.
Physical Effort:
Moderate physical effort required. May be required to stand/move for several hours at a time. May be required to move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance of equipment.
