Shipping Manager - Bradford

The Georgia‑Pacific facility in Bradford, PA is looking for a motivated professional to join our team as the Shipping Manager. The Shipping Manager oversees all shipping activities within the facility on all shifts, leading a team to perform fast‑paced work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies. This position supports day shift with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and off‑shifts as needed.

• Foster and develop a culture based on Principled Based Management (PBM®).
• Coordinate shipment of materials to support production operations.
• Review sales orders and customer demand to develop daily shipping plans.
• Meet with materials and planning teams to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Provide guidance on daily operations to maintain high productivity and quality.
• Schedule inbound shipments, oversee receipt of incoming material, and perform incoming inspection.
• Coordinate outbound small package and dedicated shipments and all required documentation.
• Use FIFO to manage inventory flow and warehouse organization.
• Own P&L for freight, warehouse, and supply chain.
• Conduct monthly physical inventory counts.
• Measure and report warehousing effectiveness and employee performance.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory control processes, shipping and receiving records, and order processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to workflow processes and standard operating procedures.
• Lead, motivate, and develop shipping leads and hourly employees to improve business performance goals.
• Collaborate daily/weekly on planning and strategy meetings.
• Manage shipping/warehouse functions for internal offsite warehouses.
• Communicate continuously with sales and customer service teams.
• Manage the entire truck fleet.
• Evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory processes.
• Oversee ordering of raw materials.
• Partner with outside vendors.

• Experience managing in a shipping/warehouse role and/or a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant programs for maintaining records, data, documentation, and reporting.
• Experience managing logistic processes and customer relationships.
• Forklift operator experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging or converting operation.
• Certified OSHA Forklift Instructor.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems (e.g., TOPS, PCS, FFF, KIWI).
