Deputy Manager – Residential Children’s Home (EBD)

Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum
Sleep-in rate: £60 per sleep
Rota: 2 on / 4 off
Home size: 4-bed EBD

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join a 4-bed residential children’s home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Bradford.

This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to progress their career within residential childcare while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

• Support the Registered Manager in the daily operation of the home

• Lead and supervise staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care

• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, policies, and procedures

• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people

• Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and staff development

• Act as Manager in the Registered Manager’s absence

• Experience in a senior role within a residential children’s home (EBD experience preferred)

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people

• Flexibility to work a 2 on / 4 off rota, including sleep-ins

• Competitive salary of £32,000 – £36,000 depending on experience
