Water Treatment Service Chemist
Location:
Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits
We are seeking a technically-minded Water Treatment Service Chemist, ideally based in Yorkshire, and flexible to travel where required. Our client offers the full range of water treatment/legionella services and has a presence UK-wide. The role will involve the testing and analysis of Steam Boilers and Cooling Towers, and providing bespoke technical advice and recommendations to clients. Candidates will ideally have good access to major travel routes, (such as: A1(M), M1 and / or M62) for easier travel.

Experience /
Qualifications:
* Will have experience working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist
* Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Flexible to travel in line with client requirements
* Experienced in using a test kit on site
* Comfortable liaising with clients
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Proficient in using IT software to complete reports
The Role:
* Attending a variety of client sites to conduct testing and analysis of Steam Boilers and Cooling Towers
* Sampling from closed systems and completing analysis
* Testing of chlorine dioxide systems
* Dosing of systems as required
* Tank cleans and disinfections
* Mains injections
* Calorifier inspections
* Producing bespoke technical reports
* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
