Yorkshire region, home based remote working
Work typePermanent. 37 hours per week, Monday Friday working rolling 4-day week to core hours. You will need to participate in an out of normal working hours stand by call out rota and be flexible to work outside of core hours.

Where You Fit InAs our HV Electrician you will be responsible for the completion of Planned and Reactive Electrical tasks within timescale, quality and cost parameters. Able to manage and prioritise your own workload in line with business requirements and the Working Time Directive, you will also:
- Proactively identify and report any follow-on work or areas for enhancement.
- Work unsupervised in remote geographic locations, taking part in a standby rota as required.
- Specify parts and equipment required for procurement as part of your day-to-day role.
- Ensure you minimise risk to people and equipment by leaving adequate handover information for colleagues who may be asked to complete any work.
- Build and maintain relationships with operational customers, colleagues, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Demonstrate financial awareness when making day to day business decisions, identifying ways to improve value and service delivery.
- Drive excellent Health and Safety (H&S) behaviours in relation to policy and standards, identifying H&S improvements across any areas that have an impact on your role and the role of others.
- Understand and comply with all responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act, working in accordance with YW Task Lists, Safe Working Procedures and safe systems of work.
- Be fully compliant with the management of change processes currently in place.
- Conduct your own risk assessments and populate appropriate method statements required to safely carry out maintenance activities.
- Maintain PPE, van and other tools and equipment in good condition, reporting any defects promptly, ensuring your equipment is presented for testing and inspection in advance of expiry dates.
- Use company corporate systems to keep colleagues fully informed of any work completed or any specific conditions remaining on site following such work.
