Overview
Commercial Electrician position located in Bradford.
Responsibilities- Work from block cable diagrams
- Electrical installation works
- Undertake electrical testing prior to site installation
- Cable containment
- Install trucking and conduit
- Install cable tray and dividers
- Pull in armoured cable
- Install outdoor armoured cable glands
- Cable markers and identifiers
- Gland and connect control panels
- 1st fix accessories and building services
- 2nd fix accessories and building services
- Earthing and bonding
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent; AM2 qualification desired
- Experience with in industrial or plant electrical installation or maintenance
- Familiarity with stainless steel conduit, basket, and tray for cable containment
- Experience in running and terminating SWA armoured cables
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Read and understand engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Minimum level 3; working towards AM2
- No travel or work away; training provided; regular hours with early finish on Fridays
- Regular overtime available, paid at 1.5x over 39 hours and on Saturday mornings; 2x paid Saturday afternoons and Sundays
- Company pension
- Easily commutable from Bradford centre
