Welder/FitterPay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Welder/Fitter to join our team.
Current weld students encouraged to apply.
Job Description
- Able to operate while using safe work habits.
- Must have a positive work ethic and be a team player.
- Overtime is available on a regular basis.
- Must be able to work standing for extended periods.
Fitter
- Mild Steel weldment building using 2D engineered drawings.
- Lay out, position, align and secure work pieces using squares, tape measure, and basic hand tools.
- Check pieces for defects and repair if necessary.
- Ability to lift 50lbs from the floor to table height.
- Overhead crane and forklift experience is a plus.
GMAW Welding
- Flat and Horizontal MIG welding
- Solid Wire and Dual shield welding
- Pulse MIG
- Visually inspect welds for defects
- Grinding, sanding, and polishing using various hand and power tools
