We are seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist for a full-time, onsite contract role providing maternity leave coverage. This is a 7-month assignment based in Bradley, IL, supporting a leading manufacturer in the steel fabrication and CNC machinery space.

In this role, you will lead and execute a variety of marketing communications initiatives that support domestic and international sales. You will manage departmental priorities, develop content across multiple channels, and support events and trade shows throughout the duration of the contract.

• Lead marketing efforts to support domestic and international marketing initiatives that drive company sales.
• Strategize and manage a promotional calendar and coordinate priority projects to increase brand awareness.
• Ensure marketing plans and materials align with overall business expectations and priorities.
• Provide ongoing communication and administrative support to the marketing department.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring a multimillion-dollar marketing budget.
• Support management of marketing interns as needed.
• Research competitors by evaluating advertising strategies and market share.

• Develop promotional materials for CNC machinery across multiple media platforms.
• Write and edit copy for the company website, email campaigns, mobile campaigns, digital and print advertisements, press releases, product brochures, machine quotations, video scripts, and social media channels.
• Support publication and global distribution of the company’s industry magazine to approximately 20,000 subscribers.

• Coordinate international trade show marketing initiatives and special events to promote customer relationships.
• Research and help coordinate logistics related to machine delivery, installation, and operation on the show floor.
• Provide coordination support for in-house company events as needed.
