Veterinary Receptionist - Part- Time - FTC

Do you have a passion for excellent customer service and enjoy working with animals? Rowe Veterinary Group are looking for a receptionist to join our team at your Bradley Stoke Hospital in Bradley Stoke. This is a fixed term contract role lasting approximately 6 months.

Rowe Vet Group have our 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke and branches in Thornbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Brimsham and Wotton-under-Edge.

As a valued member of the reception team, you will be the first point of contact for pets and their owners.

• Greeting our clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
• Booking, cancelling and changing appointments
• Dealing with queries by phone, email and face to face promptly and professionally
• Advising clients on our preventative healthcare products and promoting Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance
• Dispensing medications/prescriptions
• Taking payments, cashing up and all other general admin and reception duties

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of office-based experience and a strong educational background, including a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or higher. They will be dependable, with excellent time management skills, and demonstrate a professional yet empathetic telephone manner. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and solid numeracy and literacy skills.

High attention to detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a passion for animals are key attributes for success in this role.

• Monday 4 pm - 8 pm
