Research Assistant

The QC Chemistry Analyst will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and accurately documenting results.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing testing of finished products, intermediates, in-process samples, raw materials, water, and environmental samples
• Following CSL and compendial laboratory testing methods
• Recording test results accurately in laboratory notebooks and required documentation
• Entering laboratory data and results into the LIMS system
• Reviewing test data and results for accuracy
• Communicating any aberrant or unexpected results to laboratory supervision immediately
• Following established testing schedules and meeting deadlines
• Maintaining accurate, complete, legible, and timely laboratory records
• Following cGMP requirements and company procedures
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
• Performing other laboratory duties as assigned by Laboratory Management or the Group Lead

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related science field
• An Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a Bachelor’s degree
• Entry-level candidates are welcome
• Laboratory experience is a plus
• Good practical understanding of a laboratory environment
• Understanding of laboratory safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Good time-management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
