Responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming phone calls in a polite, business‑like manner.
  • Handle guest questions, comments, and concerns efficiently.
  • Process online and conference reservations accurately.
  • Respond to all e‑mail and instant message inquiries politely, with thorough and accurate information.
  • Make restaurant reservations, coordinate tee times, spa appointments, and other arrangements guests request; refer large parties to the appropriate manager.
  • Meet sales goals set by management.
  • Maintain knowledge of room types, rates, and availability.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and promote other services.
  • Process reports as assigned by management.
  • Perform accurate cash handling and credit control.
  • Operate the Property Management System and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the designated manager.
  • Retain knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Understand that business demands may result in different shift patterns.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Work is performed at a desk.

Physical Demands

Primarily stationary and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear both in person and by telephone.

Expected Hours of Work

8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends.

Travel

Less than 10% travel required.
