** Job Description
** This is a temporary, part-time position with up to 25 credits assigned.

Activities related to college teaching and learning in the Computer Technology Support field, including but not limited to the duties listed below:
* Instructional planning, teaching, learning, and evaluating students in the classroom.
* Assessment of student performance.
* Student recruitment, retention, and advising.
* Lab/classroom climate maintenance.
* Maintenance of professional skills and credentials.
* Maintain and enhance curriculum and assess program outcomes.
* Participation in department meetings, coordination activities, curriculum development, and college-wide committees.
** Salary Range:**$43, annually
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Associate degree
* Five full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in computer technology support.
* One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
** Preferred Qualification
*** Microsoft Office Specialist:
Associate (Microsoft 365 Apps) Certification or Microsoft Office Specialist:
Expert (Microsoft 365 Apps) Certification
* Proficiency in Client OS and Office 365.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively teach and explain operating system concepts, along with practical
* Demonstrated familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college.
* Dedication to teaching and student learning providing quality education emphasizing college level standards.
* Commitment to studying, analyzing, and implementing learning strategies that will help students reach their education goals.
* Experience using teaching techniques that support diverse learning styles.
* Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
* Knowledge and experience in the use of instructional technology, including Interactive Television and online course delivery.
