Registered Vascular Technician - Casual

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Essentia Health as a Registered Vascular Technician! In this role you will perform a variety of diagnostic vascular examinations in the vascular laboratory, patient care unit, or surgical setting for pediatric to geriatric adult patients. You will provide measurement and image data to the interpreting physician, perform vascular studies on patients of all ages, and may also perform other vascular diagnostic testing or patient care duties as required by the vascular program.

• Completion of an accredited training program for vascular technology associate degree program with supervised clinical experience in vascular ultrasound.
• Current registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International. New hire technologists must be registry eligible and become registered within 12 months of hire.
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license verified through appropriate licensing agency.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.

Registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) is required.
