Each staff attends one Belonging gathering per month, along with other meetings for case staffings and training.
- Reaching out with Intensive In-Home Family Services (2-3 times per week per case) and collaborating with community agencies with mental health services to children who are at-risk and their families. Services are primarily in families’ homes, and at times in the community and schools.
- Connecting with other agencies that are working with the youth to wrap services around the child.
- Scheduling: the service focuses on helping the family and child, often during non-traditional hours when clients are available – after school hours and evenings (about 4, some staff work on Saturdays to lessen evening sessions by one or two evenings). The role offers flexibility in setting the schedule. Available for crisis calls.
- Documenting: case notes and billable hours are required at all times.
- Billing: full-time staff provide 110 client hours per month out of the 173 working hours available in a month (40 hours x 4.3 weeks). The average client hours are 26-28 per week.
