Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas following infection-control, safety, and procedural guidelines;
Empty waste baskets, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors using manual or powered equipment;
Wear appropriate protective equipment and keep storage, equipment, and carts stocked and tidy;
Assist in laundry areas as appropriate and utilize technology applications as needed;
Demonstrate knowledge of housekeeping processes and methods in a healthcare environment to provide a clean, sterile environment for patients/residents and staff
