We are seeking a Program Director to join our Client Access Specialist (CAS) team! This full-time position will operate throughout our six-county service region. The Client Access Director will provide supervision to NPMHC Client Access employees and the Call Center along with supervising daily operations of client-facing offices. They will train, support, and provide Client Access functions as necessary, requiring competence in all areas of the Client Access and Call center positions.

Essential Functions include:

Fill in for Client Access Specialists as needed. The Director of Client Access must be able to complete all essential functions of the Client Access Specialist position, inclusive of Mental Health Urgent Care CAS staff and Crisis Line coverage.

Fill in for Call Center as needed. The Director of Client Access must be able to complete all essential functions of the Call Center position

Ensure the full intake and referral processes is followed by all NPMHC supportive roles, regardless of their program, meeting the expectations set out by regulations, CCBHC, and NPMHC standards

Patient initial and ongoing registration:
Ensure that all supportive roles at NPMHC complete screeners, consents, necessary paperwork in the expected time frames

Ensure accurate and up-to-date insurance for all clients are in place before each service is rendered, which would additionally include providing MNsure Navigation and working with clients to complete financial assistance applications if appropriate, calling on benefits and eligibility, handling Good Faith Estimates in the timeline given by the No Suprises ACT, and that preauthorization’s are received, processed, and entered into the electronic health record (EHR) prior to services occurring

Ensure all necessary services and programs receive reminder calls for services

Monitor and maintain all necessary client-facing staff schedules in the EHR for staff to increase efficiency and productivity of each staff, administered by the Client Access Specialists and Call Center Manage employment of supportive positions including but not limited to: screen applicants, hiring, conduct reviews, approve time in payroll system, address employee concerns, and take corrective action when necessary

Coordinate and lead team meetings for all supportive staff at NPMHCAssist with billing inquiries from clients as presented with questions from Client Access Specialists, triaging to the Finance Office as necessary

Provide training to staff, both at hire and ongoing, routinely monitoring processes to ensure they are accurate, complete, and following NPMHC policies, procedures, guides, and forms

Provide ongoing, in-person supervision to Client Access and Call Center positions in each clinic and Call Center. This will require regular travel throughout our service region

Oversee client-facing spaces including but not limited to: site cleanliness and overall appearance, free from clutter and debris, representing as presentable in a professional clinical setting

Qualifications include:

High School Diploma or approved equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of two years’ experience in a support specialist/ receptionist role Travel is a function of this position; a valid driver's license is required

Associate’s degree in medical administration or equivalent field;
Minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory role;
Experience working in the medical and/ or mental health field are all preferred

Compensation & Benefits include:

A wage range of $58,000 - $70,000 annually
