Automated Packaging Line Operator

• Operate production machinery and monitor equipment performance
• Maintain quality control and safety standards throughout the production process
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement
• Engage in tasks such as mixing ingredients and packaging finished products
• Set packaging line to machine centerlines and confirm setup is correct for the product
• Set dog food bags to the correct centerlines
• Drive quality by monitoring product standards, checking paperwork, and ensuring accuracy
• Conduct and record metal, weight, seals, and lot code checks
• Verify cleans by assigning duties, completing quality documents, and ensuring timely completion
• Communicate packaging needs with the Packaging Supervisor as necessary
• Notify Packaging Supervisor of any Safety, Quality, or Production escalation issues
• Support troubleshooting of equipment to meet daily throughput requirements
• Notify maintenance if the packaging line breaks

Hours:

Monday through Friday, from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.
