Join Barrett Petfood as a Full‑Time Operator in Brainerd, Minnesota. This onsite role focuses on safety and innovation while operating production machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities include mixing ingredients, monitoring equipment, and packaging finished products.

• Set packaging line to machine centerlines and confirm setup is correct for the product.
• Set dog food bags to the correct centerlines.
• Drive quality by monitoring and validating product standards, checking paperwork, and ensuring product correctness.
• Conduct & record metal, weight, seals, and lot code checks.
• Verify cleaning accuracy by assigning duties, filling out quality documents, and ensuring timely completion.
• Communicate with material handlers on upcoming jobs for smooth transitions.
• Communicate packaging needs with the Packaging Supervisor as necessary.
• Notify Packaging Supervisor of any safety, quality, or production escalation issues.
• Support troubleshooting of equipment to meet daily throughput requirements.
• Notify maintenance if the packaging line breaks.
• Physical requirements:
  
  prolonged standing and walking in the factory; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
