As a Material Handler, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This hands‑on role blends forklift operation, inventory support, and system accuracy.
Core Responsibilities- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Deliver materials to production areas and maintain accurate inventory locations.
- Perform ERP transactions with a high level of accuracy.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and material verification processes.
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and ideas.
Success in this role requires reliability, strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to interpret work instructions and safety procedures. You’ll thrive if you are dependable, safety-focused, and motivated to continuously improve your skills and performance.
Job Requirements Must‑Have- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior material handling experience.
- Forklift operation experience (or ability to become certified).
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Inventory or cycle counting experience.
- Work environment & physical requirements:
Active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and frequent forklift use; ability to climb in and out of equipment regularly. - Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and industrial environments.
- Occasional handling of materials such as paints, solvents, and other chemicals.
