Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Wood Finishing & Shop Assistant workers for a wood products manufacturing company in Brainerd, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality finished wood products while supporting daily shop operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. • Sand, stain, and apply finishes to wood products such as doors, trim, moldings, and cabinetry components
• Spray finishes following company standards for quality and consistency
• Safely handle, lift, and move wood materials (up to 50 pounds)
• Load and unload trucks and assist with incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support team members and assist customers with friendly, helpful service

• Ability to stand, lift, and move throughout an active shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Previous wood finishing or shop experience preferred, but no experience required – entry-level candidates welcome
• Ability to follow safety procedures and basic work instructions
