About the role:
The Plant Manager serves as a senior manufacturing leader accountable for manufacturing operations across one, or more, facilities/buildings ensuring consistency in performance, leadership practices and operational standards. The Plant Manager leads by example and achieves results by developing high‑performing teams focused on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, employee well‑being, and sustainable growth.
- Operational Excellence
- Lead all aspects of plant operations to achieve best‑in‑class performance in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, including key metrics such as RIR, CoQ, OPPM, labor utilization, efficiency, and OTIF.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement to consistently meet customer and business objectives.
- Execute manufacturing priorities aligned with site strategy and objectives established by the General Manager
- Operational Discipline & Controls
- Ensure adherence to all established transactional processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Maintain high level of transactional accuracy in the ERP system to facilitate accurate inventories and process compliance.
- high inventory accuracy through disciplined cycle count practices and process compliance.
- Monitor operational performance and elevate risks, constraints, or deviations from plan to the General Manager with recommended actions
- Develop, manage, and recommend departmental budgets aligned with operational and strategic goals.
- Ensure staffing levels meet production capacity requirements while remaining within approved headcount and budget targets.
- Ensure timely completion of all required and scheduled training for plant personnel.
- Develop and maintain individual development plans for all direct reports, supporting performance improvement, capability building, and succession planning.
- Oversee workforce planning, including the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of plant employees.
- Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness
- Demonstrate and reinforce the organization’s Leader Competencies by exercising strategic thinking, leading and motivating others, driving disciplined execution, developing talent, and fostering collaboration across teams to achieve business objectives.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required(Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferred).Equivalent or greater experience will be accepted instead of a formal degree.
