This onsite position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $22.00 - $26.00, rewarding your hard work and commitment.
As a new Mill Laborer at Barrett Petfood, you can expect an engaging and dynamic work environment where every day is filled with hands-on tasks. Your daily responsibilities will include operating machinery, mixing ingredients, and ensuring that our production processes run smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the mill, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality expectations.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Mon
- Thurs 5 PM to 4 AM ($19 - $21)/HR +$3 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
Fri
- Sun 4PM - 4AM ($19 - $21) + $5 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide semi-trailer into designated area
- Complete incoming and outbound inspection reports
- Sample raw materials
- Receive in raw materials
- Inventory/cycle counts
- Assist in dumping bulk totes
- Ensure proper ingredient weights, materials, and labeling as required
- Report, document, and repair any discrepancies found within your work area.
- Clean equipment and facilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
