Location:
Brainerd, MN Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Schedule:

Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
Experience Requirements Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment. Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation. Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards. Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance. CNC experience required
Job Duties Operate CNC equipment to machine and cut wood and MDF parts Read drawings and follow job specifications accurately Load MDF sheets onto CNC tables for processing Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects Count, track, and record pieces processed for customer orders Sand wood components and assist with finishing processes Stack finished products onto pallets and move materials throughout the work area Maintain a clean, organized, and dust-free workspace
Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Wood CNC Operator. Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment. This is a physical manufacturing position that involves lifting, standing, and working around wood dust.
Safety glasses are required, and clothing will get dusty/dirty. Occasional overtime may be required.
