Manufacturing Operator

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to support technically focused production work within our professional, scientific, and technical services environment. In this hands-on role, you will operate and monitor production equipment, follow precise SOPs, and maintain accurate records to ensure quality and reliability. Working in small, collaborative teams, you'll support pilot runs, troubleshoot basic issues, and uphold strict safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment to meet daily output and quality targets
• Follow detailed SOPs and work instructions for setup, calibration, and shutdown
• Perform basic equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and escalate technical issues
• Record production data, material usage, and quality checks accurately and on time
• Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards in a regulated environment
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to support pilot and test runs
• Assist with material handling, staging, and inventory of production supplies
• Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
