Job Description:Join Essentia’s accomplished team as a Registered Nurse Supervisor in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, where you can enjoy the beauty of 465 lakes offering endless opportunities for water sports and outdoor activities. EducationQualifications:
- BSN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing is required.
- Minimum of 2 years previous RN experience.
- 1 year of RN experience in an Emergency Department.
Licensure/Certification
Qualifications:
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 2 years.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years.
- Partner with the Nurse Manager to assess, plan, manage, and evaluate nursing care and daily operations within the Emergency Department.
- Ensure streamlined and effective patient care delivery systems that support smooth transitions across the continuum of care.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain an efficient and high-functioning unit.
- Drive clinical excellence through participation in departmental goal-setting and performance improvement initiatives.
- Support financial stewardship through effective operational and resource management.
- Facilitate orientation, training, ongoing education, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
- Cultivate a collaborative, team-based environment that promotes clinical excellence and compassionate care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
