Good Samaritan – Woodland is a 42-bed long-term skilled care and transitional care facility located in Brainerd, Minnesota, in an area known as “The Heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area”.

• Additional weekend incentive: $1.25 per hour
• Additional shift incentive: $1.25 for any hours worked from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Bi‑weekly pay period: 40 hours

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and uses appropriate age and population‑specific standards. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, and coordinates care, assessment, education, and nursing interventions.

The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their competence. Provides assistance and support to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of concerns. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice occurs and/or possess multistate licensure within the Nurse Licensure Compact. Maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
