Nursing Assistant Certified

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant Certified for our Woodland LTC unit. In this role, you will provide hands-on personal care, support daily living activities, and assist with mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort for long-term care residents. Working closely with RNs, LPNs, and an interdisciplinary care team, you'll monitor and report changes in resident condition, maintain accurate documentation, follow infection control and safety protocols, and support restorative care.

You'll serve underserved neighbors in a mission-driven, faith-based environment focused on dignity, respect, and whole-person wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning using safe handling techniques
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in health records
• Follow infection control, safety, and fall prevention protocols
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional support
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and engagement in daily routines
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support restorative and rehabilitative care plans
• Uphold Good Samaritan's mission, values, and faith-based approach to whole-person care
